2018 has been a crazy adventurous year for this traveling yoga teacher! From dancing my way around the world to some of my favorite musicians, climbing volcanoes in Bali and waterfalls in Costa Rica I have soaked life up in everyway I can!
This year began with the opening of fitness mall, StudiosFUSE in Chicago, where I taught Surf Yoga and Glow Yoga.
Then I found myself in the jungles of Costa Rica dancing life to its fullest at Envision Festival. At Envision I was covering media and had the opportunity to interview Movement Instructors, World Healers and dance under the jungle sun to my favorite singers and DJs.
After Costa Rica, I backpacked Southeast Asia teaching yoga to a family in Thailand who were CEO’s of solar panel and skateboard companies. Obviously they were awesome! Then I went on the most humbling adventure teaching yoga to underserved communities in Cambodia at the Rolok Fitness Center. In Cambodia, I truly learned how my teaching can impact a community. I’m also hosting a Women’s Yoga Retreat there in April!
After Southeast Asia, I took a quick trip to Portugal where I taught SUP Yoga at Boom Festival. I learned so much about being an entrepreneur that week and am so humbly grateful from that entire teaching experience. I loved it!
After Boom, I headed back to Chicago where I worked as the personal assistant to celebrity trainer and fitness influencer Andrea Metcalf, became the Events Coordinator at StudiosFUSE and the yoga teacher for BlueCross BlueShield. Obviously it was the hustle of my life and I enjoyed it all thoroughly!
Last, but definitely NOT least at all.
I MET NAHKO BEAR AND HE TOTALLY CHANGED MY LIFE! It was the BEST day of 2018 and still makes me smile every time I think of that epic day which you can read more about HERE.
I also got a pet cat named Macha. She is the BEST and quite loud.
Now that 2018 is coming to a close, I have decided that for 2019 I would like to follow my gut more. In fact I would like to follow my intuition 100% and not listen to anything else!
2019 will include getting my Portuguese citizenship, finding the PERFECT place to open my yoga hostel, learning a new language, teaching at a yoga festival and holding space for sexual assault survivors at my
Most importantly, it will be full of spending time with people I LOVE and loving myself.
As Shakespeare wrote:
To thine own self be true.

When she's not doing any of that, she's outside studying constellations and making wishes on shooting stars. A big fan of discovering new poetry, her current favorite poets are: Rupi Kaur, Jeff Brown and Carlos Andres Gomez.
