If you’re a traveler then I’m sure you’ve heard of the app:
Whatsapp is a free call and text app that you can use to call or text anyone in the world.
I’m writing about Whatsapp today, because it is an app that is changing the world!
It is changing the way we communicate around the world.
It is changing the way we organize our business.
It is changing the way we impact the world in bigger ways.
Let’s dive deeper, shall we?
Whatsapp is Changing the Way we Communicate Around the World
As a traveling yoga teacher I meet and teach people from all over the world.
However, staying in contact with people from around the world can be difficult when phone plans are only meant to be used in our home country.
With Whatsapp I’m easily able to send out class schedules no matter where I’m at in the world, Video Chat with people I love such as my family in Portugal, and even schedule face to face interviews with clients.
Without Whatsapp, staying in contact with work, family, and job opportunities would be impossible.
Whatsapp is Changing the Way we Organize our Business
This app is the easiest way to organize simply because it is a free way to form group chats that turn into future group meetings.
I have had job interviews via Whatsapp. I have worked with teams across the world, simply by
organizing private group meetings everyone is able to attend regardless of their location.
By organizing group meetings via an app, it makes meetings and running a business more affordable for everyone involved. You can run business from the comfort of your home or office. No travel or venue booking needed.
Whatsapp is Changing the Way we Impact the World
I have witnessed people come together and impact from all ends of the world because of Whatsapp. One year ago, I was volunteering at refugee camps in Greece. The Greek government was doing everything it possibly could to stop volunteers and make helping people in need nearly impossible.
Through Whatsapp our volunteer organization and teams were able to communicate, organize, and impact an entire refugee community.
Through Whatsapp, we communicated the needs of the refugees and how us as a team could work together to help them.
Through Whatsapp, we organized meetings in the local parks to make a plan.
Through Whatsapp, we took initiative together to host events and raise funds that provided care packages, entertainment nights, children involvement and yoga classes for an entire refugee community.
All of this was accomplished simply by downloading the free call and text app:
If we can communicate, organize, and impact all through one app, imagine the work that can be done for the world.
