Do you have a traveling yogi in your life this holiday season? Then this holiday gift guide for traveling yoga teachers is for YOU! The holiday gifts below are items small enough to fit in a backpack and useful for any yoga adventure!

So take a quick look through this holiday gift guide and I’m sure you’ll find something special for that special someone!

Osprey Backpack

This is my go to travel backpack for MANY reasons! The backpack has a yoga mat holder at the bottom, a waterproof cover, soft cushioning on the back and they come in many colors. So you have choices! The company Osprey also has a lifetime warranty. Meaning if your bag breaks while on the road they fix it or give you a brand new one for FREE! So check out Osprey and see if this is your holiday gift of choice!

Hydro Flask

On the road or not, a reusable water bottle is the PERFECT gift for any yogi and the Hydro Flask happens to be my favorite one! You can take this water bottle with you on a hike or to the studio. Not only is this a great gift for the traveling yogi, but it’s a great gift for the environment! The Hydro Flask is stainless steel and BPA free. So not only are you helping the environment by reusing your water bottle, but you’re helping yourself by buying a healthy product!

Gaiam Yoga Mat

What better gift for a traveling yoga teacher than a traveling yoga mat? The best way to choose a traveling yoga mat is by a non-slip grip and a lightweight so it’s easy to carry around! That’s why I love the new Gaiam mats as they provide both! Plus this mat in particular is good for hot climates and heated exercise so it’s the perfect traveling yoga mat wherever you go!

Write Now Journal

A travel journal can be used for so many purposes and my personal favorite is the Write Now Journal! From sequencing a yoga class, writing mantras, jotting down a grocery list to journaling about all of your epic adventures around the world! Brownie points if you write them a letter on the first page!

P.S.- Be sure to check out the inspiring quotes and colorful pictures in the Write Now Journal!

 Waterproof GoPro Hero

You’re adventuring through the jungles of Costa Rica and out of nowhere a beautiful waterfall appears! You want to jump in it and climb it and swim underneath it, but you also want epic photos and videos of you doing all those things!

That’s where a Waterproof GoPro Hero comes in! You can take this camera underwater and get crystal clear photos! Plus it’s the perfect size for travel as you can fit it in your backpack and take it with you anywhere you go! And who doesn’t want epic travel photos for the ‘Gram? Am I right?

Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf

Probably my favorite travel item as you can use the Vinyasa Scarf for basically anything.

Best Ways to Use the Vinyasa Scarf:

-To stay warm on a plane or train

-Snap it into a vest

-Pull it out for a lovely beach picnic

-Practice yoga on it

-Snap it into a swimsuit coverup or skirt

Like I said, the Vinyasa Scarf is the way to go! So pick your color and you’re all set!

Waterproof Jacket

Perfect for a rainy day, a waterproof jacket is a super lightweight item. You can wear it, carry it in your backpack or tie it around your waist. And just like a scarf you have color options!

Cliff Hiking Boots

Every traveling yoga teacher NEEDS Cliff hiking boots.

Hiking boots not only help us hike difficult treks, but they protect our feet in everyday travels as they ride above our ankles. They helps us walk through muddy roads, keep our feet dry from the rain and they stay in tact for long periods of time. Travel Perk: They can tie around your backpack when not wearing them!

Angel Cards

Words of wisdom and universal guidance are always nice to have while on the road. Maybe you have a question for the universe or a mantra to carry with you throughout the week. Angel cards are there for you and in my opinion a way of following our intuition when we need a little nudge from the universe.

Aloe Face Mask

Aloe Face Masks are perfect for skin hydration! Whether you’re laying out at the beach or snowboarding through the mountains, your face needs hydration. So after a long day of travel, stick one of these baby’s on your face and let the Aloe do the talking!

Bamboo Eating Utensils

When we do good for ourselves, we can do good for the world. And with Bamboo eating utensils we can do both! These items are small enough to fit in your backpack, easy to clean, and 100% earth-friendly. So ditch the plastic and get your traveling yogi something that is healthy for both themselves and the world around them!
