I love managing yoga studios! Being that person who everyone goes to for all the answers is my kind of role. Most importantly, having a job that requires me to wear yoga clothes, hang out with yoga students and practice yoga is living the dream!
What I would have really appreciated though was knowing these seven secrets that they don’t tell you about yoga studio management.
You are the Parent of Your Yoga Studio
You are the one who has all the answers. You are the one that everyone goes to for everything. You have to be on your feet and follow your intuition at all times. Your students and staff look up to you for a reason. So lead, because that’s why you got this role.
Being Human is the Only Way to Manage a Yoga Studio
People don’t want to buy a product or talk to someone who says everything is good and fine. They want emotion and human connection. Give them what is real and they will always always return.
Your Yoga Studio Needs a System That Works
In order to set your studio up for long term success then you need to create a system that will train, motivate and grow your team to the next level.
Not sure how to create a yoga studio system?
I created three for you HERE.
You Need to Know How to Sell
Selling is what will keep your studio doors open and lights on.
Yeah yoga is great, but students only buying drop-ins because you don’t know how to talk about memberships won’t last you a month.
Give yourself the task of learning how to sell and be confident in it. Then train your team in sales so they can succeed too!

I teach you how to sell and how to hire a team to sell and succeed with you!
Gratitude Goes a Long Way
Thank everyone for everything.
You would be surprised to know how much more dedicated your team will be when they know that they are appreciated.
So find out what makes your team feel appreciated then supply an abundance of it!
Sometimes Things Fall Apart and You Have to Fix Them
The showers could flood.
The water fountain could be polluted.
The light sockets could rust.
I suggest learning how to fix these things on your own just in case the repair company is unavailable or so you know how to fix them moving forward.
Your yoga studio is just like a house. It needs occasional repairs and a whole lot of love!
You are the Community Leader
This is the most exciting and fulfilling part about being a yoga studio manager!
You are literally in charge of leading a community into greatness!
You have endless opportunities to create connections, grow classes, host events, meet people from all over your town or city, and build the yoga community of your dreams!
You are in charge. So take the lead and grow!
I believe in you!
Managing a yoga studio is the most challenging yet soul fulfilling role in the industry.
That’s why I left you these seven secrets.
I want you and your yoga studio to succeed!
So, if you are ready to step into your leadership and run an organized and successful yoga studio then
