I have this dream of impacting the world in big ways. I meditated on it. I made a vision board. Then I went out into the world and found my way of impacting it, but now I want to take it to the next level. Solidarity is a word that means uniting together. Yoga is a word that means to unite. Vessels is what we are, both giving and receiving.

Solidarity Vessels is my way of impacting the world. This is my new project where I will be working with eco-friendly companies to provide reusable products to refugees living in refugee camps.

Refugees are in constant need of supply and the Earth can provide if we do it in an eco-friendly way. Can you imagine if we provide reusable diapers for babies and reusable water bottles that can sit out in the sun without doing harm to the body? We can help people suffer less by giving them healthy products they will never run out of. I know this can work, because when we do good for ourselves then we can do good for the world.

I never understood what yoga teachers meant by doing the work, because I thought showing up on my mat was doing the work. But then a dear teacher told me that showing up on my mat is the warm up. The work begins the moment I get off my mat and go out into the world. So that’s what I’m doing and I think it’s what we all should be doing.

Solidarity Vessels is a world without borders. A world we all deserve to live in. It will officially go live in 2019. I’m excited to see where it goes and the lives it touches along the way!
