I am a big believer in taking my yoga off the mat and into the world. As a job whose definition is to unite, it is our job as yoga teachers to be impacting the world. We are an industry full of healers and lightworkers living in a world that is full of suffering and people who are in need of healing and to experience that light we all teach.
So that is why I came up with these
Six Reasons Why YOU Should Impact The World Today
Impacting the world keeps us humble.
Helping others is the easiest way to keep your ego in check and your heart grateful.
It feels GOOD to impact a life or a whole community.
After working 1.5 months to raise money for refugees, the smiles and hugs I received that last day felt GOOD. They were genuine and made me know that what I did impacted others. If you see someone struggling, ASK them if you can help. Then watch how they light up. It will feel SO good to feel that light.
The people you meet on your journey will make an impact on your world and vice versa. These people are your friends for life, because they see the world the same way you do. When you find these people, never let them go. You met them for a reason and many reasons to come!
The World Needs You!
There’s a lot of craziness going down in the world right now. What it needs NOW more than ever are people (you) who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and do the work that needs done to make the world a better place! The world needs more light, more people full of love, and more people willing to donate their time to communities in need.
There are opportunities to impact all over the world!
It’s easier than you think!
Impacting the world sounds SO intimidating, but it really isn’t.
What it really takes to impact the world is your time, your love, and your commitment to a good cause. That’s it!
My mission with Xanadu Yoga is to impact the world and inspire yoga teachers to do the same. So if that yoga teacher is YOU, check out my online course:

Brytta is a world traveling yoga teacher from NYC. Lover of glitter, SUP Yoga and climbing waterfalls. When she's not adventuring around the world and practicing yoga, she's writing about her adventures and coming up with new ways to take her yoga off the mat and into the world! When she's not doing any of that, she's outside studying constellations and making wishes on shooting stars. A big fan of discovering new music, her current favorite musicians to practice to are: Nahko and Medicine For The People, Trevor Hall and CloZee. ♥
